At IFG, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. This year, our Senior Director of Professional Resource Management and Strategic Alliances, Mike Shirk, had the honor of participating in the 4th Annual Compassion Cup, a golf fundraiser organized by Compassion Planet. The event was held at one of Sacramento’s golf courses event and brought together local businesses and community members to support a fantastic cause.
Compassion Planet is dedicated to helping aged-out foster youth and youth from at-risk backgrounds transition successfully into adulthood. Through their holistic approach, they provide mentorship, job training, and life skills that empower these young individuals to lead successful and independent lives. The Compassion Cup is one of their key fundraising events, and it’s an opportunity for supporters to contribute to their mission while enjoying a day of friendly competition and networking.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Compassion Planet for organizing this event and to all the participants and sponsors who made it possible.
