Meet Frank Ono

In 2007, I founded IFG because I saw a gap: California’s state and local agencies needed consultants who didn’t just deliver tasks, they needed true partners who understood the stakes, brought deep technical expertise, and cared about outcomes that serve the public.

Since then, I’ve led high-profile IT modernization projects across the State of California and local government. I’ve seen what works, and what doesn’t, when agencies try to transform legacy systems, manage multi-vendor environments, and deliver digital services that citizens actually use.

Today, I lead IFG’s executive team with a focus on strategic delivery, accountability, and long-term partnerships. We don’t just staff projects. We bring critical thinking, agile execution, and proven experience to help agencies navigate complex initiatives, from project management and business process redesign to organizational change management and quality assurance.

What drives me, and what drives IFG, is a commitment to doing the right thing. My wife and I have served as foster parents for over seven years, providing hope, love, and stability to children who need it most. That same sense of purpose shapes how we show up for our public-sector partners: we’re here to deliver real value for the missions they serve and the communities they support.
