I’m Mike Shirk

I joined IFG in 2017 and serve as Vice President of Workforce and Strategic Partnerships. I lead IFG’s recruiting and workforce strategy, supporting clients with resource planning and long-term staffing approaches aligned to project needs.

I bring more than 29 years of experience in talent acquisition, resource placement, business development, and workforce management across public-sector and commercial environments. My work includes succession planning, performance management, and national placement of IT professionals for large-scale programs.

At IFG, I partner closely with clients and internal teams to ensure project staffing supports quality delivery while maintaining consistent recruiting standards. My focus is on building durable relationships with both clients and consultants.

Outside of work, I prioritize family, health and fitness, coaching high school baseball, and involvement in my church.
